A panel of higher education and industry leaders will explore forces shaping the workforce of the future and the implications for higher education. Technology plays a major role, both in workforce futures and in higher education's response. The panel will consider such questions as: What does higher education need to do to be the essential lifelong training ground for the future workforce? What do employers expect of their workforce, and is higher education meeting their needs? How can and should the relationship between higher education and employers change? How is technology changing jobs and skills needed, careers, and the educational experience?
