Implementing VR with a Virtual Art Gallery

Our presentation will discuss whether encountering sculpture in a VR gallery has increased student engagement with and/or recall about these pieces in Art History 101/102. We will share preliminary data from our IRB-approved research project and offer practical lessons learned for anyone integrating VR at the course level.

Outcomes: Identify VR's greatest areas of pedagogical impact as well as handling logistics * Learn how to integrate VR at the assignment and course levels * Assess the impact of VR on student learning and engagement
