The Promise and Pitfalls of AI and VR for Teaching and Learning

We will review Brown's ongoing projects that explore the potentials of 3D technologies, AI, and automation for use in the classroom. By identifying how we have closed the knowledge gap with 3D-modeling tools, we will share how we applied those methodologies to our use of AI in the classroom.

Outcomes: Understand the risks associated with using AI and VR in the classroom * Learn how to set expectations for users piloting the technology * Understand the "human factor" to inform deployment choices
