Everyday Leadership, Making Connections

Wednesday, April 06, 2016 | 10:00AM–11:00AM | Symphony Ballroom I/II
Session Type: Professional Development
This session welcomes all participants to form a learning cohort at Connect Miami. Take time to reflect on everyday leadership experiences, dispel some myths, and use the 2016 event content themes to discuss how we "connect" with others through daily interaction. Determine how to create a shared sense of mission and how to accomplish goals together. Feel empowered to become an agent of change and to think differently. In advance of this session, take time to listen to the NPR TED Radio Hour on Disruptive Leadership.

OUTCOMES: Gain an understanding of the participative learning model * Create a comfortable, active learning space where you will lean in, raise your hand, share your knowledge, and ask questions * Enable lollipop moments (tip: listen to the podcast) and share them with the higher education IT community via #econnect16
