Geographic information systems, a complex and demanding technology, can be incorporated across the curricula of small colleges if support, training, and resources are available to the faculty and instructional technology staff. Along with the GIS Program Director of the National Institute for Technology and Liberal Education (NITLE), two participants in the NITLE consortium will present their schools' models for teaching and support.
