Session Type:
Professional Development
At RIT we have been using cloud computing to provide a sophisticated computing infrastructure to our students for over eight years. The integration of these constantly changing and very popular technologies into our curriculum has required that the relationship between our administrative computing group and our teaching faculty changes too. It is just as impossible for the faculty to support the resources needed to deploy an enterprise-scale cloud computing environment as it desirable for the administrative computing group to be seen as an important part of the teaching enterprise. This session will present a brief overview of our efforts and technologies.
