Going the Distance: Rethinking Pedagogy in an Online Executive Education Institute
Going the Distance: Rethinking Pedagogy in an Online Executive Education Institute
Tuesday, March 13, 2012 | 9:15AM–10:05AM | Room 552
Session Type:
NC12
This session will discuss the collaboration across departments and between faculty and staff to rethink the way that executive education participants from around the world interact with faculty, peers, and content in order to maximize their learning in a fully online experience. This portrait of practice goes beyond the typical "this is how we converted a face-to-face experience into an online experience" to emphasize how the Harvard Graduate School of Education rethought teaching and learning decisions during the process of planning, design, and delivery of its first executive education online institute.
