Tuesday, March 31, 2015 | 12:30PM–1:20PM | Room 555
Session Type: Professional Development
CfA is a new competency-based college (no credits, courses, classes, or grades) that offers degrees based on what students can do with what they know. The low cost of the program has challenged the team to automate, integrate, and create efficient workflows. We will discuss some of these challenges and demo how the platform gives us the speed and agility to introduce new processes across the entire student life cycle. We'll show the innovative custom apps-including a learning management system, student information system, and early warning system-designed to meet our needs.

OUTCOMES: Discover the steps required to build an organization to deliver CBE * Understand the tangible benefits that can be achieved by running a unified cloud-based platform across a university * Understand the potential obstacles in launching a CBE program
