Across our campuses and state, faculty, archivists, museums, libraries, and state agencies are generating an ever-increasing amount of digital documents, datasets, photographs, video, and audio. With funders increasingly requiring data management plans, the need for provide access to and digitally preserve digital objects is paramount. The Connecticut Digital Archive (CTDA), collaboration between the UConn Libraries and the Connecticut State Library, is developing a cultural heritage digital repository infrastructure to digitally preserve and make accessible content available via the Digital Public Library of America (DPLA). Join us as we explore how to develop a digital repository infrastructure using open-source tools.


OUTCOMES: Learn techniques for digitally preserving digital objects using open-source tools * Learn about methods for using federal research data management plan requirements to leverage local resources * Learn techniques and tips for fostering collaborations to develop a digital repository infrastructure
