Using MISO Results to Improve Library and IT Services

This presentation will discuss ways to use the Measuring Information Service Outcomes (MISO) survey, an instrument that provides information about the perceived importance and actual satisfaction of various IT and library services, both longitudinally and among comparison institutions. Presenters from two liberal arts colleges will discuss ways to analyze, edit, and communicate the results of this survey. They'll also provide specific conclusions drawn and some of their resulting policy recommendations.

OUTCOMES: Learn ways to analyze, visualize, edit, and communicate MISO survey results * Learn data-analysis techniques that can be used to make policy decisions about library and IT services * Learn ways to approach cross-institutional analyses and how to communicate survey conclusions to constituent groups
