Creating Interactive Applications for Online Courses with Adobe Captivate 9: Programing Not Required

Wednesday, March 23, 2016 | 2:30PM–3:10PM | West Prefunction Area
Session Type: Professional Development
Interactive learning applications can break up the monotony of a text-based online class by creating a fun and engaging environment where students learn by doing. In the past, these types of learning environments were difficult and time-consuming to create. Faculty and instructional designers, regardless of their programming background, can now easily develop interactive applications for their online courses. In this session, we will explore how Quinnipiac University Online uses prebuilt templates and the "Learning Interactions" feature within Adobe Captivate 9 to create interactive applications. An example from an online writing course will be highlighted.

Outcomes: Collect information and insight on how to create interactive content inside Adobe Captivate * Determine if Adobe Captivate is a viable solution for your institution to create interactive content
