The DRS Project Toolkit: A Scalable Model for Digital Projects

Wednesday, March 23, 2016 | 4:10PM–5:00PM | Room 553
Session Type: Professional Development
This presentation will discuss the DRS Project Toolkit 2015 pilot project currently under way at Northeastern University Library. The DRS Project Toolkit is a layer of tools that enable nontechnical users to manage and publish existing repository content through custom WordPress sites. The toolkit offers research projects the flexibility of a customized web platform with the long-term preservation benefits of an institutionally supported digital repository. Ultimately, what we are trying to achieve with the DRS Project Toolkit is a scalable model for digital projects to preserve and publish their work.
