Session Type: Poster Session
Delivery Format: Poster
The Digital Latin tool uses a large language model (LLM) to create tiered (scaffolded) versions of authentic Latin passages for a specified level of Latin mastery, and includes references and an explanation of how the original text was simplified. This session will include an overview of our approach, a discussion of how we promoted collaboration between developers and subject matter experts, our strategies for testing and selecting LLMs and system prompts, and a live demonstration of the tool.
