As AI tools become increasingly accessible, traditional assignments are more vulnerable to automation and misuse. This session explores how educators can redesign learning experiences to be more durable while aligning with Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles. These approaches foster student engagement, autonomy, and authentic learning while minimizing the risk of AI misuse. Attendees will leave with actionable ideas to create assignments that emphasize process over product, support diverse learners, and prepare students to “learn how to learn” in an AI-driven world.
