General Session | Campus AI: Navigating the Cloud and the Clout

Wednesday, March 11, 2026 | 9:30AM–10:15AM ET | Ballroom D/E
Session Type: General Session
Delivery Format: General Session

Among individuals and institutions, the rapid rise of artificial intelligence has created both excitement and the feeling of being overwhelmed. Concerns about trust and ethical use persist, compounded by our tendency to lean heavily on generative AI in pursuit of perfection.

This panel brings together technology leaders who confront these challenges daily and are shaping the strategies to manage them responsibly. We’ll explore how they balance innovation with ethical, inclusive, and accessible practices, ensuring that their institutions remain trusted stewards of AI. Panelists will share approaches for building confidence in AI by balancing reliance on automation and fostering readiness across diverse communities. Together, we’ll tackle a critical question: Is it better to be first at adopting AI or to be best at preparing for its integration? By examining how these leaders make decisions about participation and preparedness, we’ll uncover practical insights for navigating AI adoption without losing trust—or perspective.
