In an era where higher education must deliver results with speed and precision, turning data into actionable analytics that drive key decisions is no longer optional, but essential. Yet true transformation doesn’t come from technology alone: it happens when people, process, and technology move in concert, guided by engaged leadership and a shared purpose. Over the past five years, Bentley University has put this philosophy into practice by building a resilient Data Analytics program that evolved from proof of concepts, pilots, and iterative projects into a now-trusted, enterprise-wide data analytics capability. By modernizing our cloud infrastructure, embedding robust governance, and democratizing access to data, we continue to empower business areas to make informed decisions, bridge silos, and create a shared culture of trust and collaboration. In this session, we will share a pragmatic blueprint for how we built this foundation: what fueled progress, what slowed it down, and how we sustained momentum. Attendees will leave with actionable strategies to architect their own modern analytics programs, cultivate data literacy and collaboration, and translate institutional strategy into measurable impact.
