In this panel session, speakers from across Simmons University will share perspectives through the lenses of faculty and student services on how they address ethical and effective uses of AI to prepare students for the new realities of an AI-enhanced world. Join the directors of the Simmons Center for Information Literacy, Center for Faculty Excellence, the Simmons University Library, and the assistant dean of Academic Support as they discuss the opportunities, risks, and ethical questions around AI, including how uninformed uses could undermine critical thinking and creative problem-solving. They will discuss collaborative efforts and innovative approaches for preparing both faculty and students for meaningful engagement with generative AI tools.
