Higher education institutions—with their mix of campus merchants, payment applications, open networks, and limited budgets—face unique challenges achieving and maintaining PCI compliance. In this session we will explore the PCI ecosystem including PCI DSS, PA-DSS, and card brand mandates. We also will identify best practices for reducing your institution's PCI scope, discuss the role of outsourcing, and offer some best practices for achieving and maintaining compliance. We also will address changes in PCI version 2.0, including the new self-assessment questionnaires (SAQs), which take effect in 2011.
