The Digital Liberal Arts: Problems and Possibilities in the Digital Humanities

Tuesday, January 28, 2014 | 2:15PM–3:15PM | Palm Ballroom AD
Session Type: Professional Development

New research methods and modes of presentation, fueled by new technology and new forms of interdisciplinary collaboration, are poised to transform traditional humanistic inquiry. These changes in turn force us to confront challenging questions about what scholarship is, how current evaluative structures need to evolve, staffing and facilities required to support these efforts, and how these efforts can be sustained financially and intellectually.
