Underdefined IT processes may compromise product development, service delivery, organizational agility, and efficiency. Without well-developed IT processes, service partners may find it difficult to prioritize, plan, manage, and deliver services effectively. The Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) offers a broad-reaching and sophisticated framework for best practices for technology organizations. This presentation will explain the core concepts and provides examples of how NYU is applying them.
