SOA in the Enterprise—Maturity Is Key

Wednesday, May 06, 2009 | 12:15PM–1:30PM | Indiana Ballroom E
Session Type: Professional Development
Service oriented architecture (SOA) has been buzzing around in our organization as a strategic direction for five years now. We recently gained some traction in adoption of SOA. What we've learned is that SOA is more about enterprise maturity than technology. Listen to lessons learned as we have tried to deploy SOA at UW–Madison. Discuss with and learn from your peers how to deal with the following maturity areas: technology, project management, funding, organizational behavioral, and governance.
