Using Analytics to Proactively Drive Institutional Understanding and Decisions

North Carolina State University is tackling a huge challenge. How can the university make sense of all the data that is currently stored in various departments? To improve understanding and decision making, the university began working with SAS to gain a comprehensive view of specific business areas using data marts, detailed operational reports, and strategic dashboards. These areas include admissions, university advancement, and noncredit courses.
