The Embedded Librarian Program: Librarians and Faculty Partnering to Serve Online Students

Each semester, Community College of Vermont faculty members and librarians work together to embed personalized, meaningful library assistance into online classes. This presentation tracks the genesis and rapid growth of the program, as well as the benefits and challenges. Future directions such as RSS feeds, chat, and NetMeeting will be discussed.
