Using Frameworks to Ease Curricular Systems Development, Interoperability, and Maintenance

Institutions are continually developing tools, both large and small, to support the needs of their faculty. As these tools age and the infrastructure on which they were built changes, they present a maintenance and interoperability challenge, one that can be eased with the use of application frameworks.
