PLEASE NOTE: Separate registration and fee are required to attend this seminar.

Monday, March 09 | 2:00PM–5:30PM | Room 551
Session Type: Professional Development
As IT professionals we embrace technology because it enhances learning, work, and play in powerful, dynamic, and fun ways. But we know all too well that the same technologies we promote can challenge our ability to "get things done." Being plugged-in means we are accessible at the office and at home, blurring our boundaries; the flow of information is relentless, and with multiple communication channels, requests find us no matter what we are doing, all of which creates a fast-paced, reactive, interrupt-driven rhythm in our lives. While we haven't developed the technology to control time (yet), there are strategies and tools to help us manage ourselves, be productive, and enjoy our accomplishments. This session will provide a broad overview of managing priorities, identifying barriers to effectiveness, and handling stress. We'll discover how best to use our most inelastic resource—time!
