Bridging the Gap: The Landmark College Collaboration Model

Wednesday, March 30 | 2:15PM–3:15PM
Session Type: NC11
Landmark College has developed a collaborative model that involves Academic Affairs, Educational Technology Services, and Technology Operations. Charged with the mission of providing associate degree programs for students with learning disabilities, ADHD, and Asperger's syndrome, Landmark College implemented a student laptop program in 2002. The particular focus was on assistive technology to support college-level learning. Over the course of the past eight years, the program has evolved to include communications, business, and math-oriented technologies. Equally important has been the objective of researching emerging educational technology to support Landmark College's core mission.
