The lack of objective data on technically-equipped spaces has historically been a weakness of traditional A/V departments. Bates College developed a project aimed at providing objective data on room usage and trouble reporting, along with increasing the level of support provided to classrooms. Bates has developed a system that provides detailed data on technology usage and trouble calls. We also created a system that allows a tech to be present within minutes of a call, along with smart troubleshooting to get faculty up and running, often before the tech even gets to the classroom.
