Demand for streaming reserves services at Dartmouth College has been rapidly growing over the past three years. The number of classes we support has increased by 58%, and the number of streaming files per class has surged by nearly 200%. This session will consider various ways the Jones Media Center has strategically evolved its streaming reserves service to accommodate past and future growth. Both the attendees and the presenter will benefit from an open discourse on sustainably accommodating growing demand for media delivery systems while acknowledging the limitations on staff time and resources.
