New Models for Faculty/Librarian Collaboration: Information and Digital Media Literacy Programs

Bucks County Community College and Stonehill College leveraged partnerships among faculty and staff to improve students' information literacy and digital media literacy skills. Representatives from each institution will discuss theoretical approaches to creating partnerships between faculty members and librarians. The impact of each institution's program on student attainment of information literacy and digital media literacy skills will be discussed. Each program helped increase student engagement in conducting research and building skills necessary for the future workplace.
