Managing Course Capture as a Central University Service

Tuesday, March 31 | 4:00PM–4:50PM | Room 554
Session Type: Professional Development
Course capture is fast becoming ubiquitous on campuses across the country. Amidst the rush to find adequate solutions, what methods are put into place to manage these solutions, especially in a university setting where departments, centers, and schools have varying levels of requirements? Using our own course capture system, we'll share some of the challenges and successes we've experienced introducing course capture at Yale. During the conference session, we'll use polling, Q&A, and open dialogue to discuss the experiences of everyone in attendance. The goal is that everyone participates in knowledge sharing and gains new ideas on managing course capture.

OUTCOMES: Learn about the challenges and successes of Yale's deployment of course capture * Get new ideas on managing course capture * Learn how at least three or more peer institutions manage lecture capture
