Campus-wide virus infestation in the fall of 2003 prompted Emory to minimize the effects of future virus infections through two major risk-mitigation projects, Network Registration and Intrusion Prevention. This presentation will discuss how these programs have positively impacted Emory's network security and will detail architecture, statistics, and overall set up, as well as plans for the projects' second phase.
