Enterprise vulnerability management (EVM) is the process of identifying, tracking, and mitigating security problems with software and systems. An EVM-based approach creates a security life cycle process by integrating automated patching, configuration, policy, and asset knowledge capture in a single software-based solution. This presentation will introduce the concept of EVM and its ability to create a more secure enterprise through automated vulnerability remediation.
