Academic institutions foster research and self-discovery in safe environments to shape tomorrow's leaders. These principles must also apply to protect students from outside cybersecurity threats and ensure that they follow proper cyber citizenry guidelines. The presentation will outline Barton County Community College's best practices for neutralizing cyber threats and will present key strategies such as establishing network subnets to segment and monitor various academic communities.
