Disaster recovery—the activities that restore the institution to an acceptable condition after suffering a disaster—is a subset of the larger topic of business continuity. A disaster recovery plan covers the data, hardware, and software critical for a business to restart operations in the event of a natural or human-caused disaster. This seminar will introduce strategies, practices, tools, and techniques for the development of effective disaster recovery plans.
