Training for information privacy and security is essential in higher education environments not only due to legal and statutory requirements but also as a method of risk reduction. As more institutions move toward mandatory training based on assigned roles and responsibilities, we can achieve better economies of scale through Web-based training and interinstitutional collaborations. This seminar will explore training models, methods, and opportunities drawn from conversations, research, and benchmarking efforts.
