Data Loss Prevention - Attacking the Root Cause

Tuesday, April 13 | 3:45PM–4:45PM | International D (6th floor)
Session Type: Professional Development
Despite many tools and solutions on the market for the past 10 years, data breaches have continued to increase. Traditional approaches of simply protecting the perimeter are not nearly enough to prevent data loss. Identity Finder has developed an innovative approach to help change employee behavior and manage the risks at an enterprise level. Penn State University recently deployed Identity Finder, and the College of Liberal Arts will discuss its evaluation and deployment processes and why it chose to protect sensitive information at the source.
