The domain name system (DNS) is the foundation on which most network applications (and network security!) relies, yet it often receives scant attention. This seminar will discuss some of the current threats to DNS security and stability, practical tactics to improve the security of DNS today, and the status of DNSSEC and other Internet-wide efforts to defend DNS against attack and exploitation.
