Meeting Information Security Awareness Needs, and the Campus Likes It!

Tuesday, April 05 | 2:00PM–3:00PM | Travis AB/Third Level
Session Type: Professional Development
The challenge: developing information security awareness and training programs that provide critical regulatory and institutional information and requirements in an interesting and accessible way. Sound impossible? The University of Arizona and the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee have done just that and will show how their respective programs provide critical information to their employees, promote an understanding of the shared responsibility of security risks, and create opportunities to further partnerships within their campus communities. This presentation will discuss approaches to developing and rolling out training and tracking campus completion progress, as well as the overwhelming success of the programs.
