HTML5 is an emerging technology with broad implications for mobile application development and delivery. A number of new security-related features are contained in the HTML5 specification that can be misused to attack applications and users. However, there are also a number of security improvements in HTML5 that can help developers produce safer applications. This talk will cover a broad range of HTML5 topics from a security perspective and demonstrate how HTML5 will change the security landscape for web applications, often in unexpected ways, which will affect us all.
