This session will provide an overview of areas such as building an information security program in sync with business requirements and goals; effectively addressing the challenges posed by people, business processes, and technology; winning broad-based community support; and defining key strategies to position an information security program as an enterprise resource. This seminar will also include interactive discussions with seminar participants around developing effective information security program initiatives, building successful partnerships with university leaders and campus departments, and identifying leadership strategies necessary to launch and sustain a successful information security program. Participants will also be given an opportunity to discuss and potentially address security issues from their own institutions.
