Academic Analytics: The Uses of Information to Manage the Academy

Are institutions adopting reporting and analysis technologies such as data warehousing? How are they leveraging information to impact retention, financial performance, or institutional positioning? What new methods help them leverage the information in their ERP or course management systems? This session explores the results of quantitative and qualitative research that ECAR has just completed on reporting, modeling, and analytical technology in the academic and business management of an institution.
