Innovation isn't easy and innovation in education is even harder. To improve effectiveness and efficiency, the Dutch government places high priority on the better use of information and communication technologies in education. This study identified factors leading to success and failure of large-scale educational innovation projects so as to to enable future projects to achieve better and more sustainable results.
