In June the boards of Internet2 and National LambdaRail passed resolutions to begin discussing consolidating the organizations. The objective is to provide the U.S. research and education community with greater access to experimental networking facilities and cutting-edge Internet applications and services. A primary goal is to develop and deploy new technologies for tomorrow's global Internet. This session will provide an update on the discussions.
