The University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Minnesota are leading an open-source alliance of universities, colleges, and corporations whose mission is the development, implementation, and evaluation of the next-generation online framework for collaborative teaching and scholarship, one that enables the convergence of synchronous voice and video communications with the collaborative authoring of advanced simulation/visualization media for learning.
