Seminar 03A - Service Layers, Not Centralized vs. Decentralized: Cost Savings Without Service Reductions
Seminar 03A - Service Layers, Not Centralized vs. Decentralized: Cost Savings Without Service Reductions
Tuesday, October 12 | 9:30AM–1:00PM | Meeting Room 205A
Session Type:
E2010
Universities that employ both centralized and decentralized staff often report unacceptable and frustrating levels of conflict between these groups. This session will offer a conceptual framework that embraces both groups and give you strategies to start having the right conversations and benefit immediately from a more efficient and cost-effective IT service deployment. Though each university is different, the model is flexible enough so that you can adapt it to your unique organizational culture and traditional way of working.
