Seminar 09A - Understanding the Open-Source Kuali Financial System, Technology, and Terminology

After successful implementations of Kuali Financial System at institutions like Colorado State University, San Joaquin Delta College, Naval Postgraduate School and others, the Kuali community has delivered on the promise of enterprise-ready, open-source administrative software. For those that are hoping for evidence that Kuali Financial System is a viable option, then this is the session to attend. During this workshop, attendees will be given an overview of Kuali Financial System (KFS), including core programs and the different modules. In addition, some of the KFS features included in the session are: electronic transaction processing documents (e-docs), Kuali Enterprise Workflow (KEW), Chart of Accounts, and General Ledger. The goal of this session is to introduce KFS terminology, features, and functionality to persons evaluating Kuali Financial System and/or wanting to learn more about this open-source project.
