The Horizon Report in Action: Deploying Innovation Locally

Wondering what's new in mobile computing, electronic books, and open content? Join members of ACTL, the Advisory Committee on Teaching and Learning, as they review the Horizon Report and examine ways it might be put to work at your institution. During this session, they will review various emerging technologies likely to have a significant impact on teaching and learning in the one- to three-year horizon. They'll highlight how other institutions are implementing these technologies at various budgetary levels. The Horizon Report is an annual publication of the EDUCAUSE Learning Initiative and the New Media Consortium. Participants are asked to bring their laptop or web-enabled mobile device.
