Beyond Compliance: Strategies to Increase Online Accessibility and Engagement for Students with Disabilities

Approximately 20% of the population and 11% of postsecondary students identify themselves as having a disability. With increasing online enrollments, institutions must go beyond compliance and increase accessibility for students with disabilities. This session provides strategies for increasing accessibility and engagement for all students from point of first contact to matriculation through graduation.
