his session will explore distributed technology support from the perspectives of mission and results. We will take into consideration the nature of central and distributed organizations, highlighting opportunities for synergy and coordination and clarifying areas that tend to be best delivered by central or distributed support units to avoid duplication of effort and unnecessary competition, particularly in light of recent economic trends across higher education.
