Increasingly, government is enforcing existing laws that require campus-based technology to be accessible for students, faculty, and staff with disabilities. Improving digital accessibility is a long-term process, involving many stakeholders. In this session, the presenters will discuss these issues and offer recommendations for creating a campus-wide IT accessibility plan.


OUTCOMES: Be able to describe the legal requirements for IT accessibility in higher education *Know at least three specific questions to ask of IT vendors related to their products' accessibility *Learn multiple strategies for putting together a campus-wide roadmap for IT accessibility
